Certified Welder – Metal Fabrication & Structural Welding
Employment Information
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on metal components and structural assemblies according to fabrication specifications. Read and interpret technical blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders to ensure precise joint preparation and weld execution. Set up welding equipment, select appropriate filler metals and consumables, and configure machine settings for optimal weld quality across various positions and materials. Inspect completed welds using visual and dimensional checks, document results, and perform or report required rework to meet AWS/company standards and project specifications. Maintain welding equipment and consumables, perform routine preventive maintenance, and follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
Welding certification and technical training required. Certified in MIG/TIG welding processes. Minimum 3 years welding experience. Blueprint reading skills essential.

What welding certifications are required for this position?
We require current certification in MIG and TIG welding processes. AWS (American Welding Society) certification is preferred. Stick welding certification is a plus but not mandatory for this role. -
How many years of experience do I need?
Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience is required. We prefer candidates with structural welding and metal fabrication background.
